Phnom Penh came as a highly recommended restaurant online. Reservations are not accepted here so you have to walk in to put your name on the waitlist. It seemed as if the best time to come in so you could be accommodated quickly (within 30-40 minutes) was off times like 15:00. After much research we ordered the three most popular dishes: chicken wings, butter beef, and bo luc lac. As you look around the restaurant everyone has some sort of these 3 options. The main standout was the butter beef. It had a nice soft texture to it and once mixed with the sauce had a nice tangy taste to it that was memorable and like nothing we had tried before. The chicken wings were perfectly fried and had a subtle salty garlic taste but to be honest wasn’t that memorable. The Luc Lac was another dish that although good didn’t stand out. I recommend you come here as a group so that you can try multiple items and not just the most popular dishes. If you have time in your itinerary to stop by I recommend waiting but if your time is limited I’m not sure I would recommend waiting over an hour to dine here. Regardless we still enjoyed our meal and highly recommend the butter beef.

We went at around 3:30 pm and thankfully there was no line at all! We were seated within 5 minutes of getting there:) The food absolutely lives up to the hype. The beef butter was just amazing and melted in the mouth immediately. The chicken was perfectly crispy and n didn’t feel oily or heavy at all! I ordered the durian sticky rice and I really loved it, though I wish the smell was stronger but I get why that wouldn’t be ideal in a restaurant lolol anyways the meal was amazing, service was great and fast! Will definitely come back when we visit Vancouver again!

We'd been wanting to try this place for a long time because of the great reviews and constant lineups. We came early and ordered their popular noodle soup, butter beef, and chicken wings. Everything was good but nothing particularly stood out or worth the hype. If you can get seated right away, it's worth trying, but I wouldn't wait an hour in line for it
