We hosted our wedding at Nuba in Kits, and it was absolutely spectacular!!! We were able to rent the whole restaurant for the evening, and worked closely with Ciara and Yas - who are INCREDIBLE. They went above and beyond in every possible way to make the day perfect!! The food, drinks, and service were, as always, amazing. We were so excited to share Nuba’s excellent menu with all our friends and family, and everyone has been raving about it since! The ambience of the restaurant is perfect for a warm, intimate wedding. We feel deeply grateful for the whole Nuba team who worked so hard to bring the wedding of our dreams to life! We couldn’t recommend Nuba enough!

We had an amazing server yesterday! Yousef was super friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and informative, and really made us feel welcome. He also helped me with our reservation over the phone and was just as helpful then. That kind of service goes a long way. We were highly impressed, thank you for such a great experience! J & S

We had so much fun at the Bridgerton High Tea. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. We loved the fact that you could try many different teas. We even bought a couple to take home. The servers were extremely attentive and so friendly. They gave some great recommendations on the teas and the other ways you could use them at home (in cocktails, served over ice, etc). They're are so many varieties there is truly something for everyone. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Had such a lovely experience at the Bridgerton-themed high tea! 💐🫖 The food was really good, especially the chicken sandwich, which was my favorite, and the rose tea was absolutely delicious. Everything was beautifully presented and had such a charming Bridgerton vibe. 💕 We were actually quite late, but the staff were still welcoming and accommodating, which I really appreciated. Overall, such a beautiful experience with great food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend! ✨🍰🫖

Deserves its praises, not going to lie! The dining feast, albeit 49 dollars, it’s so worth it. The refills are unlimited! I literally tried all the dishes in the menu is so worth it! They have live music in the evenings and they ask for a contribution of 3 dollars which is very doable. Also the decor in the restaurant is so beautiful, aesthetically it’s a gorgeous place, it’s truly an experience. You’d feel transported!

A great culinary tour of Eastern dishes from a variety of countries served up in small dish all you can eat offerings including creamy mushrooms, eggplant, curries, naan, Biryani, paneer, chicken masala, lamb gormeh sabzi, baked Thai salmon, soups, and salads. The Silk route feast provides you with an ever changing flavorful food adventure. Menu is a bit thin for small appetites, as the feast is clearly the main attraction but a bit pricey for small appetites. Service is excellent with attentive, caring, happy staff that greet you with a warm chai as you come in the door and explain each dish as they are served. Live violin music on weekends requires a $4 charge.

Simply the best. I’ve been here many times and I’m blown away every time. Not only is there a wide selection of vegan options but most of their dishes are gluten free! The decor is so aesthetically beautiful. And the service is exceptional. Not only do you get a welcome chai, you also get a goodbye biscotti. Thank you Rehmat and Michelle for the wonderful experience, I’ll surely be back.

We went to this Banana Leaf in Kits and the food was amazing! If you're a serious eater who love delicious food , want stupendous service , and a fantastic romantic patio , this place will not disappoint you! The patio was perfect as they even turned on a heater for us! It wasn't a cold night, but if you want a heater this place has it! Barry was a great manager in greeting us warmly. You can see him in the picture below! When you have a great manager that means you have great service! A good commander means good soldiers! The servers were all amazing! Professional , happy ,and quick to serve! You must try this place or come back again very soon if you had it before! Oh, don't forget to pick up a cool tote bag they have for sale there!

If you’re a healthy person, you’ll like this place. If you’re price sensitive or a simple man, still very good. 1) Eggplant? 4.5 star. Good flavor 2) Fried egg plant sticks? 5 star. Light, airy, crispy. Flavor is natural (light on seasoning but dip it) 3) Beef stir fried? 4 star. Good. Standard. 4) Tropical salad? For what it is, good. 4.5 star bc it relies on natural, clean flavors. 5) Meat on a stick? 3.5 star. Average plus. A little dry. Solid. 6) Clam? If you’re a seafood person, 4.5 stars. Clam sauce is great on white rice. 7) Curry with tofu and fish? 4.5 star. Fresh fish is great. 8) roti? 4 star solid. 9) Coconut rice dessert? 4 star. Solid. Overall, strong 4 star that you could give 5 star. My 13yo didn’t like it bc he has an undeveloped palate while my older sister liked this place.

The first time I entered the restaurant I noticed the batik apron on every waiter and waitress, it's already reminded me of home. Then, everything I ordered here was delicious, no doubt, all tasted like home. I loved the rendang, I loved the fried rice on pineapple, it looked exotic. I loved the chewy noodle kwetiao goreng. The green bean was cooked perfectly al dente. Oh and I loved the sambal, although it's unbelievably expensive to me. But overall I am satisfied with the food and service. I would come back again for a special occasion.

Although the decor is decidedly tired don’t let that fool you, the meals from this place are truly spectacular! The trick is to pack as much into the bowl as humanly possible, keep squishing it down as you grab it then at the end pile your choice of noodles on top and select your sauces which you should go in portions of threes and try to choose sauces that compliment each other. Once you’ve completed your selection you place on the counter near the Grill and take a number. Find a place to sit and wait as depending on how busy the place is you will be waiting at least 20 minutes or more for your meal. Just remember good things come to those who wait and since each meal is cooked separately your meal will be spectacular! The flavour is phenomenal and the selection is amazing! Great value for a real tasty meal!!!

Had some awesome Dim Sum here on a Saturday night! Handmade soup dumplings were incredible! They sell out of some selections so I need to go earlier in the day to try more! We had beef and lamb skewers…and the meat was so delicious! We will be back!

I have ordered in the Mongolian B.B.Q Combo and two lamb skewers . My dish has arrived on time and it was warm. I have had three different types of meat( with the sauces of your choice ) , rice , noodles and soup and steamed vegetables. The food was delicious . Every bite was better than the one before. I was surprised by the huge amount of food that I have received. Needless, to say I don’t have to worry about lunch for tomorrow, as there is plenty of leftovers. The cost of this meal was very reasonable. I will pay more visits in the future to this incredible restaurant.

the omg roll is truly aptly named — i think i audibly let two “oh my god”s slip out: one when i saw how MASSIVE these behemoths were (one piece was literally the size of a fist), and another when i bit into it. the outside crust was addictively crispy and airy, but the inside was absolutely STUFFED with a mixture of flavourful shredded crab, fishy cooked salmon, slightly spicy and sharp/pungent wasabi, and mushy warm rice. the absolute punch of flavour from all these ingredients were complemented immaculately by a tangy sweet sauce drizzled all over the rolls, and the kick from the side ginger was also a godsend. the oshis is what they’re known for, and obviously they were jawdropping as well. i typically don’t even like the tanginess and sourness of sushi rice , and even though the rice in this does taste pretty strong , the uniqueness and bursts of flavour of the toppings really made up for it, and maybe even made it work. my ranking of the ones that we tried : 1. yuzu chashu: so surprised by how incredible this one was — the meat was soooo flavourful with its roasted , flamed aroma permeating every bite, alongside a reaalllly creamy cheese that just melted in your mouth. i also LOVED how fatty and tender the chashu was. the yuzu taste was actually barely noticeable , which i don’t really mind! 2. avocado truffle: this is a super close first, and honestly it could be my favourite depending on what i’m feeling. i was shocked by how strong the truffle flavour was — like it was SOOOO good and so prominent — and it really just elevated the mild, creamy avocado to the next level. i also really liked the cheesiness of this one. 3. ebi: super duper solid one as well, i LOVED the seafood-y taste of the prawn paired with the earthy pesto. 4. spicy tuna: very flavourful ! 5. sockeye salmon: still really really liked it and it’s an absolute classic , but i think it’s a flavour that i’ve had so many times now at so many different places that its lost a bit of that wow factor for me. the kabocha korokke is also worth a try , it comes with nice tangy sauce, the squash is mushy and warm, and the quail egg in the center is super unique and adds a creaminess and strong yolk-y egginess.

The seafood salad was really good, especailly sashimi amount is just "Wow", comparing the price. And the nigiri is not special but the Oshi is quite good. I understood why the Oshi section is covered the full page on the menu. Lastly the Udon is simple but it was good match with the Oshi which has dynamited flavor.

The Eatery is a super unique sushi spot in Kitsilano, Vancouver. The vibe is very fun and eccentric as the restaurant is adorned with crazy decorations — gigantic light up Jordan shoes, sharks eating bras, anime characters and candles inside Sapporo bottles. There is a live DJ that sets a great vibe inside. The food is delicious and innovative and comes with funny names like bacon striptease, captain crunch and miss piggy roll. Well priced and very solid portions, the eatery is a must visit in Vancouver. FAT FORK RECOMMENDATION: MISO MAYO SCALLOPS ($14.95)

Really enjoyed our visit to Naam! I had the tacos and my partner had the Naam Burger, and both were really good. They were also very accommodating with our dietary restrictions, which we really appreciated. The portions are generous and the quality is great for the price. We went on a Thursday night, so it was surprisingly relaxed, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. I also really liked the cosy, laid-back vibe of the place. It feels casual and welcoming, and it’s the kind of spot where you can actually sit, enjoy your food and take your time. Overall, a really nice experience. Good food, generous portions, reasonable prices and great service. We’d definitely come back!

Stopped by for dinner last Friday evening while visiting from Alberta and the mock chicken almond guy ding was honestly the best thing I ate all trip. We got there around 7pm and the patio out back was already buzzing with a really relaxed, laid back energy that made it easy to see why locals keep coming back. Our server was patient with all our questions since neither of us had ever done a fully vegetarian menu before and nothing felt like it was missing meat at all. Parking was a bit of a hunt on the street but honestly worth the walk for a meal that good.
