The ribs were really good. The sauce on it is nice and the meat is soft. The calamari is generous portion, a little soft. The baked spaghetti is nice. The meat lover pizza is decent. Very nice comfort food. Didn't realize this Greek place is half Italian. The lamb souvlaki is ok. The parfait is just a sundae. The sticky toffee pudding is piping hot. Really good with the ice cream!

The calamari was unbelievably tender, and the lamb shoulder was just as soft and absolutely delicious. Although the server seemed a bit cold at first, their warm smile gradually came through, making the whole evening feel much more enjoyable. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with excellent value.

Saw a post about Ryan Reynolds ate at this restaurant, just came to check it out. Service was top notch, got seated right away even we came earlier than our reservation. Restaurant was busy, even it’s almost 8pm. Food was great as well, lamb shoulder fall off the bone. Calamari was crispy. Good atmosphere, the restaurant is well maintained, good cozy neighbourhood restaurant vibe

Ramen Danbo Kerrisdale is hands down the best ramen I’ve had so far. The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being overly heavy. Every bowl tasted incredibly authentic and comforting. We had the Shio Ramen with an extra ramen egg, and it was excellent, the noodles had great texture, the egg was perfectly cooked, and the overall flavor was clean but deeply satisfying. We also tried the Negi-Goma Ramen (slightly salty) and the Classic Tonkotsu Ramen, both packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The Chashu Pork & Takana Donburi was another standout: simple, savory, and really satisfying alongside the ramen. Service was fast, the atmosphere was cozy, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. Definitely a spot I’d come back to regularly. If you’re in Vancouver and love ramen, this place is worth the visit.

Super authentic and delicious ramen place. Pork charsiu was perfect. Miso broth was amazing. Standard noodles were thin somen like noodles i got the lowest spice level mild, which was per spicy but still really good. Will be back soon. There was always a line outside to get in.

Had a great time at Danbo Kerrisdale for dinner. Upon arriving, there was a line outside but they have an efficient system where you are able to order while in line, making the wait a lot shorter than you would think. I recommend arriving early and being prepared to wait around 10 minutes. Once inside, food comes quickly and you can get straight to enjoying some authentic Ramen.

This is my favorite restaurant nearby. Always dine in and order to take out. Food is delicious, and the staffs are really nice. During the peak hours, it’s very busy, you have to wait for a while. So you might be plan in advance.

You really can’t go wrong with Vancouver sushi, but Asa Sushi in Kerrisdale is a great newly found gem for me. The place is very clean, and the staff are super nice and welcoming. I ordered the Spicy Combo and the Kerrisdale Roll, and both were fresh, well-made, and just really good. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the neighborhood!

I didn’t see the bill so it’s gotta be pricey but the food is 4-5 star. Fried chicken? 3.5 star Mango roll? 5 star Eel roll? 5 star Soft shell crab roll? 4 star. Fried rice with fish egg/roe? 4.5 star Gyoza? 4.5 star. Overall, solid experience. For the price, probably, most of the rolls are 4 star (above average). But for my experience? 5 star. My uncle and aunt come here 6-12x a year and I’ve been here twice in 2 years (2024 and 2026).

Shota Sushi is an excellent neighbourhood restaurant in Kerrisdale with a combination of 1) great local-style sushi that Vancouver is renown for, and 2) several innovative dishes that are interesting for their novelty yet still anchored on familiar Japanese flavours. Aside from the yummy food, we had great service, and our cold sake came in a cool ice bucket which kept it nice throughout the meal. It’s these little details that made this place stand out and memorable. While you may not necessarily come out all the way to the suburbs just for some sushi, you may want to with these guys to get a sense of why they are a fan favourite.

Caffè Artigiano is such a cozy little spot — the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your coffee. Their rosemary vanilla latte is one of my absolute favorites — perfectly balanced, aromatic, and just a little bit unique without being over the top. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a good mix of people working, chatting, or just relaxing. The service is friendly and consistent, and the pastries are delicious — definitely worth grabbing one to go with your drink. Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind or a morning pick-me-up, this café hits the mark every time.

Over the years, Caffè Artigiano has established themselves as a very good alternative for those discerning taste buds in search of a good cup of coffee. At the same time, the warm colours inside incite people to slow down and relax, and really take the time to enjoy their drink. Their success can be measured by their ubiquitous presence in Vancouver, and the fact that they have a bunch of regulars that are loyal both to the coffee and the experience. On a recent visit, I tried their Mocha Freddo, basically a much better Frappuccino. The chocolate and coffee they use are both of higher quality, and this results in delicious cold beverage. Highly recommended!

Had the peri peri chicken bowl Kerrisdale, it was good. My son had the pulled.chicken Caesars salad. He said the chicken and.salad.was good, but there weren't that many chicken. Not sure why they need so many (4) waiting staff, when basically is a self serves restaurant. You go to the counter to order and paid. You get your own sauce and water and drink. All the wait staff just bring u the food, and still expect 15% tips. My son paid 15% anyway.

I had the half chicken at Nando’s with mash and coleslaw, and it was honestly a really satisfying meal. The chicken was juicy, tender, and packed with flavour. I went for medium spice, which had the perfect amount of heat without being overpowering. The mash was smooth and coleslaw added a fresh and crunchy contrast that balanced the whole meal nicely. Overall, everything worked really well together and the portion size was filling without being too heavy. Definitely one of the better meals I’ve had at Nando’s, and I’d happily order it again.

First time in this location and everything was really good, friendly & welcoming staff, great food as always.. there’s just a bit of misunderstanding with our order, my chicken order came with lemon & herb although we didn’t ask for it but it didn’t affect the quality of the food.. still very satisfied! 😊

Weekend lunch with the family, my friend who used yo live in the area recommended it, we we are here to give it a try. Decor is appropriate for the segment, showing Thai culture, and unique in its own way. Service was great fast and friendly Food was ok, the soup comes with lunch special, Pad Thai, and the coconut rice with Mango were good, other dishes are just ok. Overall not bad.

the food was so good. I was raving to my friends about it afterwards. I had the pad see iew with tofu and I shared a green curry with a member of my party. it was so delicious and very filling. they were also able to accommodate our group of 5. when we arrived around 6 it was fairly empty, but by the time we left around 8 it was bustling. unfortunately the building is quite small, and not wheelchair accessible. they also have restrooms for paying customers. overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant! the food and service was above and beyond, just keep in mind that it's a very small establishment.

This Thai restaurant is modestly sized but tastefully decorated, with warm lighting and traditional accents that create a cozy yet welcoming atmosphere. The décor strikes a nice balance between casual dining and a touch of elegance, making it comfortable for both quick meals and leisurely dinners. Tables are well spaced, and the overall environment feels clean and inviting. For our meal, we started with Thai grilled pork — tender slices of pork, lightly charred on the outside, carrying a subtle smokiness that paired well with the tangy dipping sauce. The minced meat lettuce wrap was fresh and crisp, with the lettuce adding a satisfying crunch to the flavorful, slightly spicy filling. The chicken green curry arrived in a fragrant, coconut-rich sauce, with tender chicken pieces and vegetables soaking up the mildly spicy, aromatic flavors. To end the meal, we ordered mango on sticky rice, which turned out to be the unexpected highlight of the evening. The mango was perfectly ripe and naturally sweet, the sticky rice was warm and soft with just the right chewiness, and the coconut sauce was creamy and delicately sweetened — balancing all the elements beautifully. Overall, the food was enjoyable and well-prepared, with the dessert standing out as a memorable finish. Combined with the pleasant décor and comfortable dining environment, it’s a spot worth considering if you’re craving Thai flavors in a relaxed setting.

Her professionalism and attentiveness made the process smooth and stress‑free. Our server, Carter, provided impeccable service—knowledgeable, attentive, and consistently warm. We had a lovely time at the spring high tea! The sweets and savory treats were delicious and I could have eaten a whole box of the scones. We had plenty of leftovers to take back for a little midnight snack. Due to traffic, we ran late but the restaurant was very accommodating and still seated us for the full time slot. Thank you m so much!
