I’d definitely recommend stopping by here if you’re in the area and need a quick bite! The food was tasty; we got the poutine and the prawn Cesar salad. The poutine was lovely; the gravy was very flavorful, the cheese curds were also melted to perfection. Our server, Ethel, was also so nice and attentive! I’d definitely come back here with friends if I’m back in the area!

We had just worked up an appetite after visiting the Vancouver Aquarium, so we wanted to a go to a place close by - and alas, Stanley’s Bar & Grill was just a few minutes away. Upon arrival, there were lots of people in the restaurant so we were kind of expecting to wait - but they immediately sat us down at a quaint table outside, perfect for conversing over dinner. From start to finish, the dinner service was EXCELLENT. First off, major props to our server, Martha, who was simply fabulous! She was so sweet and very lovely to talk to! She could easily school the servers at other restaurants, on how to truly deliver excellent service. Martha was attentive, helpful and ensured that we were content with all our dinner choices, but also going the extra mile of suggesting alternatives or different pairing options. That immediately set the precedent of the evening. We were concerned at first by the pictures that were online of the portions of each dish, but she assured us that we would leaving the restaurant, FULL and not still hungry! She was absolutely on point! Since my eyes are always bigger than my stomach, I had ordered all sides (French fries, spinach dip, bacon and a side of chicken breast) and I couldn’t even finish my meal. Everything was very tasty, ESPECIALLY their spinach dip! My friends had ordered the local steelhead, tempeh & tortilla salad, and the slow roasted braised beef rib - and everything was simply fantastic. We were with some children, who were certainly content with their ice cream sundaes. All the portions were generous, and all of us left completely full and satisfied! In conclusion, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this gem at Stanley Park to everyone, locals and visitors, etc and would easily go there again! The food was certainly delicious, but in all honestly, it was Martha’s incredible service that elevated the entire experience!

They made us feel valued from the moment we walked in and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. The food was fresh and delicious, and their positive attitude made the visit even better. Highly recommend this place, and a big thank you to Natalie and Airra for making our experience so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back! Amazing staffs!

Wow, what a lovely dinner experience that was! My partner and I decided to try Yasma last night and it proved to be a great decision. We were greeted and served by Maryam who was really lovely. She's really friendly and helpful and was a big part of what made the experience so nice, as was the gentleman who brought us our beverages (don't know his name). I had the salmon kebab and my partner had the yogurt chicken, this after we devoured hummus and the fattoush salad. The hummus was fantastic as was the salad which was loaded with lovely, fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers and other items in a divine dressing! We loved our entrees as well. For drinks, I had a mojito and my partner had an espresso martini. We then had wine with dinner. Everything was delicious, the place was busy and lively but not noisy. The music from the two musicians was really nice as well. We will definitely be back as this was a great experience! Thank you folks!

Absolutely loved Yasma! A true local gem in Coal Harbour, with a beautiful waterfront view and such a welcoming atmosphere. Our server, Miriam, was as sweet as can be and did a wonderful job guiding us through the menu. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The homemade lemonade with fresh mint and lemons was incredibly refreshing, and the eggplant dish was absolutely delicious. And the homemade pitas — warm, soft, and so wonderfully fluffy! You can really taste the care that goes into the food. A lovely spot with delicious food, a beautiful view, and wonderful service. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

Had a wonderful dinner here on Sunday night. We were warmly greeted by the server and promptly seated, despite accidentally arriving early for our reservation. The food was top notch, showcasing the cuisine of the Levant (Syria and Lebanon). The flavours were amazing, and very unique compared to other Middle Eastern restaurants I have experienced in Vancouver. The highlight of the meal for me was the Muhammara, which was a blend of pomegranate molasses, tahini, sundried peppers, walnuts, and breadcrumbs. It sounded strange honestly, but I kept an open mind, and I was hooked from the first bite. The lamb sausage was delightful too, also with a very unique taste that you don’t often find in many restaurants. We had another yogurt/cashew dish which was wonderful too! The presentation of all dishes was on point, the dishes looked smart and elegant. Beautiful location too! Lively area being in the centre of Coal Harbour, but away from all the ugly traffic of Downtown, with live music featured while we ate, giving the restaurant a wonderful and peaceful vibe. I can see why this place has lasted for so long, unique and wonderful food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Keep up the good work! Can’t wait to be back!

We decided to celebrate our anniversary at a nice place on the water. The host that greeted was so welcoming and sweet in wishing us a “Happy Anniversary”. We sat inside as the night was getting cold and windy but the view from inside was still lovely. Our waiter, Marcio, was professional and nice. Drinks and food came out quickly and plating was beautiful. Amazing job from staff behind the scenes. We ordered New England Clam Chowder and Scallops & Pork Belly for our appetizers. They were both very delicious, but if you are from New England like we are, the Clam Chowder is probably not what you’re used to. For entrees, we got the Grilled Octopus and Tuna Steak Frites. We highly recommend the Octopus and if you enjoy wine, try pairing it with the White Haven Sauv Blanc. When we got the check, they had taken off the drinks we ordered as a courtesy of the restaurant for our anniversary which was unexpected but an amazing surprise. Prices are expected as an upscale restaurant. Overall we highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice night out and experience.

Stopped here while walking along the boardwalk to grab dinner. The hostess was super friendly, they were able to accommodate our party of 6 right away. The server, Sagar, did an excellent job! We ordered drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert. Our food was absolutely amazing and the view was spectacular. Highly recommend.

I originally had plans to dine at a different restaurant, but when my daughter fell asleep in her stroller, I needed a place that was easy to access without disturbing her. Walking into Lift turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and attentive service, the stunning waterfront views, and, of course, the food. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. The wonderful server who looked after us somehow made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Great food, beautiful scenery, and exceptional hospitality. I would happily recommend Lift to anyone visiting Vancouver

The food and service were both excellent. We ordered the crostini trio, and the staff kindly added an extra flavor on the house, which was a nice touch. Every bite was delicious. The chicken dish was also well-executed and very enjoyable. The arugula salad was fresh and tasty, though the portion was quite generous for just two people, and we couldn’t finish it. The atmosphere was great as well. We came close to closing time, so it wasn’t particularly busy, which allowed us to enjoy a relaxed meal without ever feeling rushed. The only issue came at the very end. Since we couldn’t finish the arugula salad, we asked for it to be packed to go. When I opened the container the next day, however, it contained a completely different pasta dish. Since I had no idea whose food it was, I ended up throwing it away. What happened to my arugula salad? 😂 Other than that small mix-up, everything was wonderful, and I’d happily come back again.

So good we had to dine here a second time whilst n town…on the patio first to enjoy the weather and then n the dining room for the quiet ambiance. Super fresh and light salad, hand crafted pasta offerings, and perfectly prepared Steelhead which I’d never had and was glad I dove in for. Solid vino selection across multiple price points as well. Service was very solid, and friendly which was appreciated as a weary traveler. This is truly an authentic little neighborhood gem.

The H Tasting Lounge became our favourite hangout during our stay at the Westin. We ended up back there for happy hour every single day during our stay! The patio is fantastic, a relaxed atmosphere with both spots for the sun lovers and shade dwellers alike. The vibe was cool a fun, slightly kitschy 1950s vibe, right down to the staff uniforms. It has personality without feeling forced or overly themed. The staff were consistently friendly, prompt and very engaging. Service was fun without being intrusive, and the food always arrived quickly and hot. The fresh oysters were beautifully presented, and the Tiger Prawn Al Ajillo was excellent, with grilled focaccia that was perfect for mopping up the sauce. Details down to the Red H inside the large ice cube on my perfectly crafted Old Fashion were not wasted on us. Even the ridiculously tiny Tabasco bottle made us laugh. For a hotel lounge directly on the water in Vancouver we thought the prices were very reasonable. Great food, genuinely enjoyable staff and our favourite patio of the entire trip. We loved it and will absolutely be back the next time we’re in Vancouver.

Such a cute experience to go to the high tea, it was Winnie the Pooh themed. Everything was delicious with the exception of the duck confit, and my only comment would be that it would be nice if they used wild salmon. Otherwise, the food was fantastic very whimsical and super fun ! It was my best friend’s birthday and they gave us complementary sparkling wine. Let them know in advance if there is a special occasion. Definitely would do this again. The staff were amazing and very accommodating, moved us to a table in the sun so that I could warm up. They do have gluten-free options and will cater to your needs if you let them know in advance. Note that the tip is included in the price that you pay in advance. There is some street parking which is inexpensive if you get there early. Otherwise there are parking lots around. Be very careful with the carousel, it can be very unsteady! To top everything off, there was a live harpist playing, it was absolutely beautiful.

Came for the Winnie the Pooh themed afternoon tea, for my mom's 80th birthday. You need to make a reservation, my only complaint was I had to make a modification to the time, which can't be done online so you need to call. I called on 3 different days, leaving a message a couple times, but received a call finally 6 days later which was the night before our reservation, after 10pm. While they were accommodating, it was 6 days between my first call and this callback. Anyways, the food was excellent as were the teas. My sister is lactose intolerant and they accommodated. My mom really enjoyed her green tea and her favourite food item was the smoked salmon. The honey pot dessert was my favourite, I've posted a photo of it - it was fruity and sweet, the pineapple paired really well with the whipped cream. They had a violinist playing live, and he was very, very good. He helped set the atmosphere on a beautiful autumn, sunny afternoon. It was a great experience.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, especially the shrimp and the beef. The beef was incredibly tender and full of flavor, easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The environment is also a big plus — clean, comfortable, and very pleasant to dine in. On top of that, the staff were extremely kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend trying their chrysanthemum tea as well. It was light, fragrant, and a perfect way to finish the meal. Will definitely be coming back!

Kintaro Ramen is a classic spot that delivers exactly what you expect from a good ramen shop. The broth is rich and flavorful, noodles have a great texture, and portions are generous enough to leave you satisfied without feeling heavy. It’s casual, filling, and hits the spot every time. Even when it’s busy, the food comes out hot and well prepared, and the flavors stay balanced rather than overly salty. The menu focuses on doing a few things well instead of trying to cover everything, which works in its favor.
