Seating Information
The seating arrangement at the Massey Theatre has been carefully designed to enhance the spectator experience. The main level offers some of the best views, particularly in the center sections. These seats provide optimal sightlines and acoustic experiences, making them highly sought after during popular concerts.
Conversely, the rear sections of the theatre may not offer the same quality of sight and sound, potentially making them less desirable for concertgoers. However, tickets in these areas are often more affordable, providing an option for those on a budget who still wish to enjoy a live performance at this iconic venue.
Parking Information
Parking around the Massey Theatre is convenient, with several options available for visitors. The best parking choice is at the Massey Theatre Parking Lot, located directly adjacent to the venue, making it a prime location for easy access. Address: 735 Eighth Avenue, with a typical cost of around $10 per event.
In addition to the Massey Theatre Parking Lot, there are other nearby lots that offer varying prices and availability. Unfortunately, it is advisable to avoid the street parking on Eighth Avenue, as it tends to be limited and can result in citations. We went to see Take It To The Limit again this year. The show was great and the same as last year. The new washroom set up was strange bring in the line with men. The man next to me said he would have gone outside if it wasn't so bright outside. The line went quickly and the washrooms were clean. I've seen a few shows here and the sound is always good. The venue was a bit warm. I was disappointed with security. Coming in security kept say "bag chip" several times. I kept repeating "bag chip" I didn't quite understand until she grabbed my purse. During the concert there were people/ women getting up to dance which made security very uncomfortable. One woman on the side was almost tackled from behind from a female guard. The guard was very aggressive. Just a reminder the major demo of your customers for this show is 50+ with a lot of seniors who grew up listening to the Eagles. We grew up to 60's to 80's music and we danced. Dancing was a big part of growing up. Getting older, people have hip and knee issues. Your young guards can seriously hurt and injure an older person. There were a few sqad cars outside. I seriously hope they weren't there to arrest a senior from dancing in the isle.

Sound was great for the Michael Blaustein comedy show we saw which was 10/10 and didn't disappoint but this review is specific to the venue. It is certainly quite dated but did the trick and we enjoyed the show.

The theater is under much need renovation. BUT, we saw Shrek The Musical there on Sunday and it was Fantastic! The cast and production were top level. The lead actors had great chemistry and so did the cast. What an enjoyable local production. This competes with other Broadway production I've seen and better because it local! Catch it before it ends on May 3.

The show was amazing “Bear Grease” Venue kept me up to date of pre ordering food and drinks prior to show date and that their washrooms were being renovated. Aside of having to go outdoors to use the luxury bathrooms or large port ‘O’ potties, things were very good.

A grand old dame of a theatre - spacious inside. In the midst of renovations though, so much of the building is currently under wraps
