  Went during the early afternoon and it was quite busy. The chicken fajita omelet was good and came with hash browns. Different syrups are available for waffles.

  I visited IHOP on May 1st, 2026 around 4 p.m. The restaurant was quiet with only a few customers, and it was my first time there. Francine welcomed me with a big smile and served a vanilla iced coffee and blueberry pancakes. She was incredibly sweet and friendly. The blueberry pancakes were amazing, and I was so happy to enjoy them.

  Usually never busy couple hours before closing and if your the type to eat breakfast any time this is a place to stop by. I ordered the Colorado omelet with premium pancake New York strawberry cheese cake with hashbrowns on the side, while my partner ordered the breakfast sampler substitute her toast for the premium pancake as well. For my drink I tried the new chocolate iced coffee.

  Came here with my parents earlier this evening and WOW. Talk about flavor, authentic lamb kebab just like home. I ordered the chicken & shami on saffron rice. The chicken marinate is 👌🏼👌🏼 The owner & staff are super friendly with amazing service. This place is clean. We’re going to be coming back!!

  Super friendly family-run restaurant, fresh food, and big portions, highly recommend! Had the fish pakora with salad and dipping sauce, and the mantu, which was exceptional!! Also a pizza to go.

  We always have a great time at this White Spot location. Our server Jai is kind, attentive and efficient. He even remembered our usual order the second time we were served by him. The food is great and prices are very reasonable. The vanilla bean milkshake is thicker here than in other locations, which we much prefer. A+!

  White Spot and I go way back, but I ended up taking a break for a few years because the food quality felt a bit inconsistent. A friend persuaded me to give this spot a try, and it totally turned things around. My burger was perfectly cooked, the fries were super crispy, and my wife was equally thrilled with her salad and pasta. We’ve been back three times this past year, and they’ve nailed it every single time. Thanks for bringing back a classic favorite!

  I don’t come to this area often, but both times I visited, I had a great experience. I think they changed owners, and the new staff is super nice and friendly. one of them recommended lots of new drinks to me. The environment has changed as well, and I hope the shop continues to do even better. No doubt, they still make the best coffee!

  Gave Blenz a try after hearing good things and it was a solid experience. I ordered an iced vanilla latte—it was smooth, had a nice flavor, and wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated. The service was friendly and the space had a nice chill vibe. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took a bit longer than expected to get my drink, but it was worth the wait. Definitely planning to come back and try more from their menu.

  The drinks are really good. The place is usually busy. Unfortuntley it seems there is only one barista who works the day shift who does the till, and makes the drinks. She was super friendly, but I wish there was another to help her. Couldn't imagine working two stations plus the food station as one person. Otherwise, this place is good.

  Hands down the best coffee shop in New Westminster! The coffee is always fresh and delicious, but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible team.   Heard a lot about this place from locals. It was a good portion size for a relatively healthy meal but was not anything to die for. Lots of burnt and over-seasoned chicken pieces in my plate and veggies weren’t super fresh either, hence removing one star. Lady at the counter seemed very nice.

  Best falafel I have ever had in the Lower Mainland area, hands down. Flavor is authentic and well balanced, extremely fluffy and light and perfectly crunchy on the outside. Just Perfection. Also great Chicken shawarma. And for desserts, one of very few places that offer authentic Basbousa, must try. The baclava is also very good. The owner couple are very decent people, and the rest of their staff is also great. Sometimes crowded and there could be a wait line but that's because they're really good, it's well worth the few minutes wait.

  I visited Zaaki Cuisine last night and had an incredible experience. If you are looking for authentic Iraqi-style falafel, this is the place to go! The falafel was easily the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. It was served with a traditional Iraqi sauce that was absolutely delicious. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming, which made the meal even better. Given the high quality and taste of the food, the prices are very reasonable. It is rare to find such authentic flavors done this well. I will definitely be coming back!

  Sushi Well has always been my go-to in New West 🤍 It used to be Okonomi Sushi back when I was in high school (2010–2015), and we would go at least a few times a month all year round. Fast forward to 2026, and I really appreciate how the quality is still just as good—it brings back so many memories and all the nostalgic vibes ✨ My fave has always been the deep fried California roll, and as you can see… I still order it every time 😌 Such a great place!

  We had mango paradise roll, spicy sushi combo and salmon pink rice don. The sashimi was fresh and their pink rice is unique. We loved it and enjoyed the quick and efficient service. There were three minor flaws - the miso soup was lukewarm to almost room temperature, they did not check on us mid meal and I had to ask for tea refill.

  My family and I had a great experience in this restaurant. Japanese restaurants are usually expensive so considering their menus pricing, it’s worth it. The presentation of the food is good, and the signature pink rice is cute. The quality of the sushi matched the presentation, which made the meal overall satisfying to eat. We left feeling satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to others. 🍣

  I woke up one Saturday morning absolutely craving some good okroshka or borscht. I found this spot and literally drove 20 kilometers just for a super delicious brunch. Every single taste bud was thanking me the second I tried that borscht. I don’t know if I just missed it that much or if it was truly that magical, but I highly recommend checking this place out. And don't even get me started on the blini... OMG, so good!
