Wow this place was awesome!! 😁 We ordered three pizzas between the five of us and a baked Mac n cheese. The crust of the pizza is light and crispy - absolutely delicious!! You could hardly tell this place was vegan 😋 The place is well decorated and has nice seating. The owners were super friendly as well :)! Would totally recommend and would come back!!

We were looking for a well-rated restaurant near downtown Vancouver. As one of the people in our party is vegan and has a certain food allergy, we needed a place that offered at least some plant based options. We found the perfect place at Virtuous Pie. It is amazing and the pizzas are delicious! We ordered seven pizzas between five of us and not one slice was left! The plant-based pepperoni is incredible and I couldn’t tell the difference between it and meat-based pepperoni. We also ordered two Caesar Salads. The salads are huge and the garlic bread that comes with it is crunchy, crisp, and delicious. 😋 After we finished/devoured/inhaled/scarfed down the pizza we had to try the desserts. We decided on the PB Pie and the Tiramisu Cannoli. O.M.G. These were amazing. The pie is the perfect mix of chocolate and peanut butter and the consistency is thick and filling. The cannoli have the perfect crunch and, hey, who doesn’t love tiramisu especially when it is as delicious as this was. In fact, we ordered one PB Pie and three Tiramisu Cannolis to go so we could enjoy them later in the day. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is first-rate. Nothing too fancy, but clean, serviceable, and welcoming.

Delicious and absolutely incredible, great-tasting meals at Virtuous Pie! I went for lunch on their 10-year anniversary—happy 10 years to you, VP!—and the entire staff, atmosphere, and menu exceed all expectations. The service was quick and heartwarmingly friendly. The 'Stranger Wings' pizza is absolutely scrumptious, as are their house lemonade, baked mac 'n' cheese, and the caesar salad. I'd recommend them to anyone, vegan and non-vegan, and am always impressed by their wonderful service and unforgettably stellar food

Phnom Penh came as a highly recommended restaurant online. Reservations are not accepted here so you have to walk in to put your name on the waitlist. It seemed as if the best time to come in so you could be accommodated quickly (within 30-40 minutes) was off times like 15:00. After much research we ordered the three most popular dishes: chicken wings, butter beef, and bo luc lac. As you look around the restaurant everyone has some sort of these 3 options. The main standout was the butter beef. It had a nice soft texture to it and once mixed with the sauce had a nice tangy taste to it that was memorable and like nothing we had tried before. The chicken wings were perfectly fried and had a subtle salty garlic taste but to be honest wasn’t that memorable. The Luc Lac was another dish that although good didn’t stand out. I recommend you come here as a group so that you can try multiple items and not just the most popular dishes. If you have time in your itinerary to stop by I recommend waiting but if your time is limited I’m not sure I would recommend waiting over an hour to dine here. Regardless we still enjoyed our meal and highly recommend the butter beef.

We went at around 3:30 pm and thankfully there was no line at all! We were seated within 5 minutes of getting there:) The food absolutely lives up to the hype. The beef butter was just amazing and melted in the mouth immediately. The chicken was perfectly crispy and n didn’t feel oily or heavy at all! I ordered the durian sticky rice and I really loved it, though I wish the smell was stronger but I get why that wouldn’t be ideal in a restaurant lolol anyways the meal was amazing, service was great and fast! Will definitely come back when we visit Vancouver again!

We'd been wanting to try this place for a long time because of the great reviews and constant lineups. We came early and ordered their popular noodle soup, butter beef, and chicken wings. Everything was good but nothing particularly stood out or worth the hype. If you can get seated right away, it's worth trying, but I wouldn't wait an hour in line for it

Popped in here before heading to a show and it was the perfect spot. Two of us sat at the bar and ordered The Boyfriend and a custom Martini. William was our bartender and absolutely nailed our drinks. A great atmosphere, lots of bustle.

Great spot in Gastown with a really cool atmosphere. The cocktails were excellent — well made, balanced and honestly some of the better ones I’ve had downtown. Great local beer selection too, and the food was really good. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

I’ve been coming to the Alibi Room for quite a while, and I honestly love what the new management has done with the place. It still has that unique Alibi Room character that made me like it in the first place, but it feels much more lively and welcoming now. The beer selection is still amazing, the food has gotten really good, and there always seems to be something going on. I especially love the atmosphere on weekends — it’s become one of those places where you can come for dinner and a couple of drinks and end up staying way longer than you planned. The staff have always been lovely with us too. Really happy to see an old Vancouver spot being looked after and given some new energy. Definitely one of my favorite places in Gastown. ❤️

$19 prime rib night on Thursday, with purchase of a drink, which is such a steal. You get what you paid for. Other nights are also great deals. The food was served 5 mins after we sat down, since the prime rib was already cooked.

Food really was amazing. May be the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. Prices were very reasonable, lots of happy hour specials and daily specials. Our bartender/waiter was the only worker there and was doing a great job taking care of everyone. He also gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our stay in Vancouver. I wish I caught his name. Younger guy, long black/dark brown hair slicked back. Would definitely recommend for the food and the services.

Went with the wife and buddy for steak and lobster. I opted for the bangers and mash which were decent. Swimming in gravy and the mash was creamy and seasoned well. Steak was cooked perfect medium rare but the lobster was okay. The star of the dinner was the half rack of ribs for $10, amazing value.

We celebrated our anniversary at L’Abattoir with the Chef’s Tasting Menu, and the entire evening was absolute perfection from start to finish. Every single course was beautifully executed, thoughtful, and full of flavor. The house signature white wine (Le Vieux Pin Cuvée L'Abattoir) paired wonderfully with the food and was an absolute highlight! What truly elevated our night was the exceptional service. The team prepared a sweet handwritten anniversary card for our table, and every single server who came by warmly congratulated us. It made us feel so valued and special. Thank you to the chef and the whole team for an unforgettable celebration! Worth the price! We can’t wait to come back!

I’m from out of town I have always wanted to go for the past few years. I was here for a day alone, and they were quickly able to accommodate me at the bar and offered me the full menu. Even better was happy hour, great price on food and drinks. Well worth it, and I look forward to coming back and having a nice sitdown meal. It seems the menu changes for the seasons so always new options. Friendly staff.

10/10 highly recommend! Service was lovely. The entire restaurant crew was a well oiled machine and they were all happy and singing. To see a staff so lit up on the job was truly heart warming. Food was phenomenal. My partner is Mr French Toast and he said it was hands down the best he has ever had. My only critique is that the hollondaise was lack luster, any flavor gets lost in the egg yolk. Maybe a brown butter hollandaise or truffle salt even would be the cherry on top. Lovely atmosphere, attentive service. Unless you arrive at opening expect to be added to the waitlist. We waited about 20 minutes at 1045 am on Sunday. The French pressed coffee is soooo good. Flavorful and robust. If you have the opportunity, you must go!

We had such a lovely brunch with fantastic servers who were keen for us to try their homemade sauces. These were so good!! Their ketchup was so nice. The food was delicious and a special shout out goes do their cinnamon rolls which were so tasty. The restaurant was such a lovely space with cool art on the walls.

We headed there on Saturday morning and, surprisingly, didn’t have to wait. The place is really great! As for the coffee, they only have French press, but that didn’t matter. We ordered shakshuka, which was good, and a sandwich (good;the sauce and something green was on the side so we put it in otherwise it’s a bit plain (It’s just a brioche, cheese, and ham). We were in the mood for something sweet, so we ordered their popular banana French toast- same thing, quite plain/simple. Even though they serve it with maple syrup, it’s still pretty dry and I didn’t really surprise me. All dishes have great potential, would make them a little better.

I had a great experience at Old Spaghetti Factory! 🍝❤️ The pasta was really good, and the drinks were amazing too. One of my favourite things is the complimentary bread they serve at the beginning — I always look forward to it! 🥖 Their pastries are also delicious, especially the pistachio one they currently have. The clam chowder was really good as well. Overall, a lovely place to enjoy good food, drinks, and dessert. Definitely worth visiting! ✨

This was Day 3 since we arrived in Vancouver all the way from Hong Kong. We would like to thank Soraya for her service during our visit to the restaurant. She is passionate in serving us, and so patient when taking orders for my parents cuz their English might not be that good or fluent. She is also willing to help and acts quickly to provide whatever we requested. Besides, she is so friendly, which leaves us with a great impression during our first few days trip here. We really love her vibe, and indeed she did make our day ^v^. Thank you!!! (Pls forgive me if I spell your name wrong; my jet lag still hit me) The food was really good too: pasta, sauce, excellent balance (we tried pesto linguine, lasagna and manicotti). Garlic butter spread goes really well with sourdough. French onion soup was so fresh and hot, and Clam chowder was also filled with different seafood treasures (my parents really like it). Great design for the hot tea cup holder (light bulb shaped), so unique and special; good coffee taste with milk and sugar aside; ice cream is the perfect wrap-up for the meal (the trio mixed flavour is really good) Atmosphere there was good too, the place is very-designed and vintage in a good way. The train in the restaurants adds a glimpse of history taste, which can synchronise with the background of the Gastown. The weighing balance can hardly see in HK now so really surprised to see this and we also weighed our weight for fun XD. Overall, very impressive restaurant with amazing employees ❤️.

The pasta itself was really good, and the tiramisu for dessert was amazing too. The restaurant was really big and had a calm atmosphere. Overall, we had a great experience and I’d definitely come back!

I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times—once with a friend and another time to pick up some takeout. Every time, the staff have been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. One thing I really appreciated is that Cristina and other staff members are willing to help you either in English or Spanish... You could give a try to your Spanish if you wish to do so! 😁 They also have some lovely outdoor seating along the sidewalk, decorated with beautiful flowers, which gives the place a really nice atmosphere. A beatiful stained glass of Our Lady of Guadalupe makes you feel at home! We’ve tried the chilaquiles and the ceviche, and both were absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend giving this place a try! The prices are very reasonable too. Great food, friendly people, and a really nice atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

Big plates of Mexican food and a lively open-space dining atmosphere, what’s not to love? My wife and I enjoyed our dinner date chatting over some corn chips, guacamole and chilli sauces, gazing out at the bustle of the busy evening street traffic. Service on these starters were quick to keep our hunger at bay. Our huge main course plates held hearty combinations of tacos, tortillas over refried beans, rice and salad greens, with sizeable portions enough to put anyone in a food coma. This places is often busy entertaining large groups, as well as putting on a good dinner party to support the many events happening around the city. If you are in need of a spot to get fed in Gastown, this is one of the better ones.

I love me some Mexican food and La Casita was fantastic. I had margarita and pacifio and my partner had a Pina colada, well made cocktails with great presentation. Our waiter had an amazing smile and was energetic with his approach. Service was fantastic. I had the chicken burrito (lg) $28. Came with Pico de galio , refried beans and Mexican rice. Some of the best refried beans that I have had. The burrito contain a generous portion of chicken which was well seasoned. My partner named the flautaus , vegetarian potato and onion which she said were amazing. Highly recommend this establishment . Great for a night out
