The location is great. There is a causeway at the hotel that connects you to the transit hub and to the other ( main ) tower of the hotel.That building has restaurants including the Chairman's Lounge that is very good for any meal. Fair prices, consistent food and GREAT service. Housekeeping is also top notch. Drawbacks... They only have a Lavazza coffee maker in the room so if you aren't into Italian style demi tass coffee it is not for you. They also had a tea kettle which is a nice perk. Other drawback, the tub ( if you don't shower) is very very narrow. The rooms are also really well soundproofed so you cannot hear SkyTrain outside the window. The front desk on the second tower was just bleh. I needed to use a washroom and did not want to go up to the room ( we were on the way to somewhere) and were told there wasn't one when it turns out there was. They also stored our luggage after we checked out and the front desk insisted that it was in the other tower and I believe she wasn't even going to double check until I mentioned I saw them placing it in the room.

Stayed at the River Rock Casino Resort for a Vancouver business trip, and it proved to be the right call over staying downtown. The location and transit access are unbeatable. Having the Canada Line right at the resort made getting around seamless. I took the train straight from YVR to the hotel, and then hopped right back on to commute downtown for meetings with zero hassle. Check-in was quick with no line at all. I stayed in a spacious suite on the 7th floor with great views overlooking the water, which made for a relaxing spot to unwind after a long workday. Also had an excellent lunch at the Japanese restaurant on the second floor. I didn't spend much time the Casino; but I noticed it is bright with plenty of slots, and some table games. Was hoping for a late night snack from the food court in the Casino, but it was closed for renovation. Between the convenience, comfortable accommodations, and easy airport/downtown access, I’ll definitely be staying here again on future trips.

Great Location, Friendly Staff, and Perfect for Families! We had a wonderful stay at River Rock Casino Resort during our family trip to Vancouver. The location is excellent! It was very convenient to drive into downtown Vancouver, and there were plenty of restaurants and dining options around the hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, from the check-in team and bell staff to housekeeping. Everyone made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. We stayed in the building across from the casino, which was conveniently connected by a pedestrian bridge. This made it easy to access the resort's facilities and restaurants. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the indoor heated swimming pool. Our kids absolutely loved it and had a fantastic time! The warm water made swimming especially enjoyable for the whole family. Another big advantage was the complimentary parking, which was very convenient since we had a rental car throughout our trip. Overall, River Rock Casino Resort was a great choice for our family. Excellent location, comfortable accommodations, friendly service, good dining options, and a fantastic swimming pool for the kids. Highly recommended for families visiting Vancouver and Richmond. We would definitely stay here again!
