It wasn't me, it was you

I will start off with the reason that it got three stars. The Spirit was amazing! Her voice was powerful, sounded amazing and was the vocal high point of the show. Additionally, the un-named actors(giraffes, other big cats, etc.) did a fantastic job of creating a great atmosphere. Lastly, the young Simba actor was inspiring to my child that a kid could share the stage with adults and do well. Let me start with the obvious...Mufasa was not bold, powerful or inspiring. Such an integral character really fell flat. Scar was slightly better but it seems as thought the actor (and much of the cast) felt as thought they were just walking thru the production). Lastly, aside from the hyenas, most of the main characters were out shadowed by the rest of the non speaking cast.
