Rocked up looking for a good slice of pizza. My parents and I stumbled across this place for an easy dinner on our last night in the city, and we were not disappointed. Staff were lovely and even went out of their way to tell us the different slices available, offered us nice pieces, and the food is definitely your money's worth. For any fellow flightless Kiwi flying over for a decent slice of pizza in Vancouver, this is the place. 🙌🏻

Good service ,friendly and fast customer service ! I would recommend, the reason for the 4 stars is the pizza slices and other we had looked like they were old ! Everything else was great ! Clean shop and awesome young man rocking the counter with a friendly manner !

The staff working was really sweet and made our day! Just wanted to grab a quick slice of pizza before the Canucks game but the worker really elevated the experience by going the extra mile. He created different garlic sauce designs for every customer. Made ours feel extra personal with our names! Would definitely come back when in the area.

Checked out Tap and Barrel for the first time today. Ordered the chicken pesto pasta as well as the burger and Hugo spritz for drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly and the view was nice as the restaurant was facing the water. The chicken pesto pasta was a bit too garlicky for my taste and the burger was average in my opinion.

Such an awesome spot and we had the best experience there! Right from the start, the front desk crew was super welcoming and friendly, which instantly set a great vibe for the whole visit. Huge bonus points for the underground parking too, because finding a spot around there can usually be a massive headache, but this made everything so easy and stressfree. The real showstopper is definitely the patio. The view is absolutely incredible since you're right on the water and get a perfect, clear shot of the stadium. The atmosphere out there is so lively, fun, and energetic, making it the ultimate place to just kick back, enjoy a few drinks, and people watch. The energy of the crowd is super contagious, the service is quick even when they're packed, and sitting by the waterfront with that breeze just can't be beat. It's easily one of the best patio spots in the city and I'll definitely be back regular!

A spectacular chefs choice restaurant! In this culinary treat we were served dishes that highlighted the story of the chefs with elements from their various backgrounds and skill sets. We were served luxurious beef tartar with succulent bone marrow packed with intensely rich umami flavors. Deliciously seasoned pork dumplings. A lovely combination of bok choy served in a more Filipino style sauce and sausage. An exquisite sandwich coated with sesame seeds (shao bing) filled with lush lamb, crisp greens, onions and a light sauce combined with a satisfying crunch from the flatbread. Finally one of my favorite dishes was porkbelly with a cucumber salad and a vibrant Vietnamese cilantro sauce that brought a refreshing brightness to the richness of the pork belly. Truly an incredible meal. My favorite meal in Vancouver thusfar.

One of my favorite places to eat in vancouver, truly a must! I'm in the city 1-2x a year and I hit this place up every time. Fun twists on Taiwanese food with a rotating menu, everything delicious, great service at the bar, fun atmosphere. The servings are small plates which makes it great to order a few things to share. For three adults we usually find ourselves ordering four or five items. My favorites are the crispy eggplant and the sticky rice cakes w/ duck confit (make sure to add the egg!) though there are no underwhelming items on the menu. The fried chicken has plenty of basil and the schezwan peppercorn gives it that delightful mala heat that's just right. And the tofu? Crispy, flavorful, texturally excellent. Because this place is popular, I highly recommend getting a reservation in advance, though you can sometimes get lucky with walk in seating if you come around 7pm between first and second dinner wave.

Asian 'tapas' - to share - style restaurant. Without a reservation we waited almost an hour for a table on a Friday night - well worth the wait - the food was delicious and presented beautifully. Great service from our waiter and special thanks to the maître de for seating us on a busy night. Recommend the following dishes: Smashed cucumbers, crispy tofu, prawn and scallop dumplings, beef tartare, and the fried rice. (my photos don't do the food justice) Great atmosphere - really pumping and vibrant. Highly recommend.

Very loud but lovely and delicious place with a menu with many global influences added into the options. We had dropped a fork and a waiter immediately came with another one before we even picked up the fallen fork! It made for a very magical moment. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and suited everyone’s tastes. Would definitely recommend for a fun outing!

Enjoy coming to this restaurant. I ordered the lamb dish which is what they are known for. Huge portions, can definitely be shared with someone. It would be nice to order this, and something else a bit smaller and share with your friend. We sat in the round booth with red chairs. So it was really cozy, and good size to chat with everyone around the table. Very nice atmosphere that's not too loud, which is appreciated. So easy to chat with people. Other people ordered ahi tuna, tofu, mussels, and other dishes. I also had a glass of chardonnay. So it was a very pleasant evening songstress new friends and acquaintances. The server was really friendly and polite.

Chambar is absolutely buzzing right now, just before the Bruno Mars concert, and the service has been exceptional! One name to remember: Conor, the fantastic bartender! He recommended the food for my husband and me, and we trusted his choices immediately — what a great decision! He somehow manages to remember everyone’s name, even in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Conor is professional, warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality really stand out. Amazing service, great recommendations, and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend Chambar, and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Conor, you’re in great hands! The whole team rocks! Check the photos… the best cheesecake . Conor is on the first photo, Bryan on the second and Jeremy on the third.

Phnom Penh came as a highly recommended restaurant online. Reservations are not accepted here so you have to walk in to put your name on the waitlist. It seemed as if the best time to come in so you could be accommodated quickly (within 30-40 minutes) was off times like 15:00. After much research we ordered the three most popular dishes: chicken wings, butter beef, and bo luc lac. As you look around the restaurant everyone has some sort of these 3 options. The main standout was the butter beef. It had a nice soft texture to it and once mixed with the sauce had a nice tangy taste to it that was memorable and like nothing we had tried before. The chicken wings were perfectly fried and had a subtle salty garlic taste but to be honest wasn’t that memorable. The Luc Lac was another dish that although good didn’t stand out. I recommend you come here as a group so that you can try multiple items and not just the most popular dishes. If you have time in your itinerary to stop by I recommend waiting but if your time is limited I’m not sure I would recommend waiting over an hour to dine here. Regardless we still enjoyed our meal and highly recommend the butter beef.

We went at around 3:30 pm and thankfully there was no line at all! We were seated within 5 minutes of getting there:) The food absolutely lives up to the hype. The beef butter was just amazing and melted in the mouth immediately. The chicken was perfectly crispy and n didn’t feel oily or heavy at all! I ordered the durian sticky rice and I really loved it, though I wish the smell was stronger but I get why that wouldn’t be ideal in a restaurant lolol anyways the meal was amazing, service was great and fast! Will definitely come back when we visit Vancouver again!

We'd been wanting to try this place for a long time because of the great reviews and constant lineups. We came early and ordered their popular noodle soup, butter beef, and chicken wings. Everything was good but nothing particularly stood out or worth the hype. If you can get seated right away, it's worth trying, but I wouldn't wait an hour in line for it

We came for a belated Valentine’s dinner, and really enjoyed the experience! 🍝The food was super tasty, as well as a reasonable portion especially for more upscale places (I had to take some home). I really enjoyed the Casarecce Boscaiola - it was super flavourful, lovely sauce, and a decent amount of beef with small chunks of sausage. my partner got the Chicken Linguini - the chicken was nice and juicy, with a considerable amount of pieces! The flavour imo was a bit subtle. 🥖The complimentary focaccia bread was delicious - it had hints of rosemary and olive oil. Although it arrived near the end of our meal, the fresh bread had a toasted nice crust and bouncy center. Perfect to dip with the sauce. 🍟We also got truffle fries for $10. There are a few classic items that are sold but not listed on the menu. It was really good, would have loved more sauce though. 🤵‍♀️Our server was very nice - she wasn’t afraid to load us up with cheese, thank you! 🕯️The restaurant was nicely decorated - we were sat at a very small table despite making a reservation and the restaurant being pretty empty. The place had a nice dim setting, which is a nice vibe, but can be hard to take pictures. The washroom is outside of the restaurant in the hotel area. I ready that there was music - we must have missed it!

Had the soup an sandwich combo. Comes with a salad. Sandwich is open face on focaccia bread. Bacon, 2 eggs, tomatoes. Good portion size. Took the salad to go in the end. Only available 11am-2pm. I think it was 22.99. Which is not a bad price for a sit down lunch in this town. Soup was pretty good. Was lunch time. The server did his best, but found the service to be a tad slow. He was trying to juggle 10 tables or so. Appeared to be the only server on duty. All in all i would recommend. Started with the arancini. Which was very tasty. Had a specialty coffee aswell. The B-52. Which was pretty boozy. But very tasty with some whip cream an cinnamon stick. It was a bit loud some times. With what seemed to be only 1 section open. As people left was a bit easier to have a conversation.

Is Grandma Italy chained to the stove in the back? Seriously, the food at Frankie's Italian was amazing! My waitress highly recommended the spaghetti and meatballs, and I’m glad I listened. The meatballs were absolutely fantastic. The kind of meatballs that make you wonder if somebody’s Italian grandma is chained to the stove in the back, working her magic. Great food, a great recommendation, and a meal worth talking about. If you’re looking for some good Italian food, Frankie's is definitely worth a visit. Sometimes you find a restaurant, and sometimes you find a little piece of Italy. This felt like the latter.

First time at Moxies on West Georgia, and the food completely exceeded expectations. - The Food: We ordered the Mahi Mahi and the Mango Chicken. Both dishes delivered incredible flavor and top quality. The portions were just right, filling and satisfying. - The Service: Bre provided outstanding service. She was very friendly, attentive, and gave us the right amount of space to enjoy our meal. - The Atmosphere: The space is well-suited for a casual business meeting or drinks. - The Takeaway: We tried two glasses of white wine on happy hour. While the happy hour drink selection is solid, the regular food menu is the real star here. We will definitely return.

Space looks great, after all the renos! A very good happy hour - Good selection of beers, Espresso Martini, Shrimp tacos, chicken lettuce wraps. Service was a bit slow for a fairly dead afternoon - we were sat outside on the patio, would likely be quicker if we were inside. All in all, a good spot to stop by when out and about in Downtown!

They are always so welcoming, always smiling, and there’s a genuine warmth to the place. The best way I can describe it is like an old comfy sweater. Familiar, warm, welcoming, and something you’re always happy to come back to. Great food, phenomenal coffee, and even better people.
