We tried this bagel shop today, and it's open 24/7, which is really convenient. The bagels are baked in a wood-fired oven, giving them an amazing aroma and flavor. We ordered a Sesame Bagel with Montreal Smoked Meat, and it was absolutely delicious. The pickles on the side were a perfect match. The service was also excellent. I took quite a while to decide what to order, but the staff member was very patient and never rushed me. We loved the bagels so much that we bought half a dozen to take home for tomorrow's breakfast. My wife prefers Sesame, while Everything is my favorite. Definitely coming back!

When I say I’ve missed Montreal-style bagel & Smoked Meat, I really mean it. Then I came across Siegel’s Bagels. Boy wishing i had known about this historical establishment sooner. It put a wide smile on my face when i first discovered it. Ordered a plain bagel packed with Montreal Smoked Meat and boy oh boy was cravings satisfied. Took back to times in Montréal. First visit? Not enough. As many as you can, especially if you love anything Montreal-style. It’s more than local’s favourite, it’s a tourist destination imo.

Seagal Bagel is a bagel-specialty bakery that consistently ranks among one of the best Vancouver's bagel shops. Their menu includes deli items, bagel toppings, breakfast sandwiches, and a variety of sandwiches filled with cream, cheese, smoked meat, spinach, and pickled, capers fillings. They also offer a selection of hot and cold coffees and fresh citrus juices. If you love flour-based baked goods, don't miss this authentic bagel shop. The shop isn't large, but the aroma of freshly baked bagels and rich coffee is irresistible. A bagel with a sweet citrus flavor will provide a refreshing and satisfying taste experience. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Unexpected surprise!! The crispy chicken sandwich I ordered was soo delicious! I usually have no expectations with fast food, so I got very impressed with what l got. The service was also really good, and when we came back for more sandwiches the server still remembered our names! So lovely. I also enjoyed the milkshake. I didn’t have time to take photos of my food, I was busy enjoying it. Recommend.

This is our go-to Triple O as it is quite close to us and it opens until a decent hour 10 pm. Depending on the hours of the day, parking at the front could be a bit challenging, but it seems people all coming in and out quickly. This location is most of the time clean. Occasionally it was not clean as people might have just left the tables and the staff was busy taking orders at the cashier. We asked them to help wiping the tables during a couple of visits, and the staff was always happy to help. Food has never disappointed. Great to take advantage of the daily special from Mondays to Wednesdays. Burgers are more pricey than other fast food chains but it comes with exceptionally higher quality as well. The only thing was I wish this location was slightly bigger!

It's a very cozy Sea food restaurant beside the harbor. I smelled grilled fish 50m away before reaching to the place! We ordered Grilled Salmon which was sooooo delicious, balanced seasoning, very fresh Salmon. Also we got Cod Fish & Chips, which I like the presentation and portion, I would prefer it with more salt and seasoning, however it was super fresh! We like all staff hospitality, very friendly and feels like to be in a local restaurant. Wonderful Experience, recommend it for tasting fresh sea food, with nice view of harbor, at good price.

Listen, I've had a few of the tourist-stop fish and chips as an out-of-towner. This place if the best! Best cod, fries, and salmon I've ever had! Tartar sauce is perfect! This little spot by the water with the killer view is a winner. Hands down.

I arrived right when they opened on a weekday; it took them about 15 minutes to serve me after their posted opening time. The food is tasty, and I liked that the fish was locally caught. I practically filled up on french fries, but that’s appreciated when you’re a tourist walking all day and need plenty of energy. I liked that it included unlimited Valentina hot sauce and a glass of plain water. Although the place isn't very comfortable for dining in when it's raining, I loved the view while I ate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a fantastic time. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, the souvlaki truly set our experience apart. Don’t miss their orange cake with ice cream—it’s a must-try!

The portion size is great for the price and the food comes quick. Lots of breadsticks given as you are seated. The only thing missing or else I would have given five stars is that if there was a big glass of water so we were able to refill our water. My water cup was basically empty before I finished my meal, but no worker came by to refill it and I had nothing to refill it with. Since the place is a little small, it can get very loud in there and conversations can be hard to engage in

We chose Afghan Horsemen Restaurant for our first Nowruz (Persian New Year 2585) dinner and visited with a group of friends, which made the evening even more special. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and beautifully designed, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. We ordered the Kebab Platter Delight, a generous and beautifully presented selection of different kebabs and meats. It was served with incredibly delicious appetizers and their fresh, traditional warm bread, which made the whole experience even more authentic. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. We truly enjoyed this memorable evening with great food and great company, and would definitely recommend this place for a special gathering🍾

Afghan Horsemen Restaurant: More Than a Meal, It's a Heritage Experience Afghan Horsemen isn't just a restaurant; it is a true cultural landmark. As the pioneer that introduced authentic Afghan cuisine to North America over 50 years ago, this establishment offers an experience steeped in history, flavor, and hospitality. To dine here is to participate in a rich tradition, lovingly preserved and shared across generations. The food is, quite simply, exceptional and served with a palpable commitment to authenticity. Traditional favorites shine, from the perfectly seasoned, fall-off-the-bone Qabuli Palau (rice mixed with caramelized carrots and raisins) to the tender, charcoal-grilled kebabs. Even seemingly simple dishes like the Ashak (leek dumplings) are executed with an exquisite balance of spices and textures, demonstrating a deep respect for the culinary art of Afghanistan. Every bite is a journey, confirming why this cuisine has earned such a devoted following. What elevates Afghan Horsemen beyond a great meal is the atmosphere of Afghan hospitality. The interior is adorned with beautiful traditional décor, creating a warm, inviting, and intimate ambiance that feels worlds away from the busy city streets. The staff, known for their graciousness and attentiveness, embody the cultural spirit of welcoming guests. Farhad, who hosted me, takes pride not only in serving the food but in sharing the culture, making every visitor feel like an honored guest in an Afghan home. For those seeking an authentic cultural experience coupled with spectacular, time-honored dishes, Afghan Horsemen is an absolute must-visit. It remains a crucial piece of North America's culinary mosaic and a testament to the enduring power of food as a vehicle for tradition and connection.

We came for lunch on a Saturday and it was really busy. There seemed to be only only 1 waitress working so service was quite slow but she some how managed. The food was so good that we came back for dinner and had a much better experience. The Shish Kebab is of great value as it comes with many sides. The Kabuli Palaw is delicious, definitely get the lamb shank over the lamb shoulder, the meat just falls off the bone. Much more affordable than the other Afghan restaurant in Vancouver.

We stopped by The Keg on Granville Island for lunch and had a blast. I love the layout here. They have a really nice, dim upscale section on one side and a lively bar on the other. Canada was playing in the World Cup while we were there, which made the energy in the place even better. The staff was super friendly and the food was great. I tried to be adventurous and got the steak sandwich. It was a really good size and loaded with tons of meat, but it was just a bit too much for me. My husband loved it, though! The real star was the truffle fries. I’m honestly not a big fry eater, but these were seasoned perfectly and absolutely amazing.

I’ve always been a big supporter of The Keg and visit them frequently especially to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and family special occasions. It’s always been a favourite destination of mine for decades. I placed a door dash order on Friday September 25 asking for an unseasoned steak for my sweet dog’s meal as he was losing his battle with cancer. I also ordered two entrees for myself and my husband to enjoy with our dog. Not only did they make the whole order with care and love, but there was a nice handwritten card expressing how sorry they were and to enjoy the peaceful meal with our pup, along with a billy miner pie and a slice of cheesecake. The steak was cooked perfectly for my little guy. That gesture really made one of the worst nights of my life feel a bit more bearable. I’ve always been a supporter of the keg prior to this and this just solidifies my appreciation and love for the restaurant even more. Thank you so much.

We had dinner at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar on Granville Island and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. To start, we ordered the calamari and the garlic cheese bread. Both appetizers were delicious and surprisingly light—not overly greasy or heavy, which made them a great way to begin the evening. For our mains, we chose the Mushroom Risotto, the Truffle Chicken & Mushrooms, and the evenings special Chilean Sea Bass. Every dish was flavorful and expertly prepared. We especially loved the rich, smoky truffle notes in the chicken dish, which added wonderful depth and character. The standout, however, was the Chilean Sea Bass. It was cooked perfectly—moist, tender, and flaky, with large delicate pieces that practically melted apart with each bite. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Perfecto!

I wanted to try their fried oysters but should’ve known from the picture in their menu. A picture and the pen you showed chicken nugget looking oysters which should’ve worn you that they weren’t made fresh on site. I ordered it anyways. My food came out very quick and was very hot but with so many options around I don’t see myself coming back.

Stopped by for lunch a few days ago since the restaurant we normally go to had an hour long wait and was very pleasantly surprised! The food was so cheap for the portions we got, it tasted absolutely delicious, and it was served super quickly. Super glad the other restaurant was that busy because it allowed us to find this place, will definitely come back next time we’re in Kits! I’d also highly recommend the chicken cashew dish with a side dish of the rice!
