I want to start by saying that this review is written to reflect Village Studios after the massive upgrades to the washroom and the AC. While I have a lot of praise for this establishment, I do have to highlight that it still gets crazy hot even with the AC, so my advice is to bring a fan. Always. Wanted to take the time to acknowledge how well treated my friend was by the staff at Village Studio. I met up with a friend, and she was having overheating issues and was beginning to feel faint. She went up to what she thought was a security guard at the top of the stairs and asked if there was a space where she could sit down. The security guard turned out to be the manager of the establishment; his name was Brendon (I hope Iβm spelling that correctly). Brendon was DIALED. He calmed down my friend and reassured her that she would be taken care of. Brendon then grabbed a chair from the staff room and set it up in such a way that my friend could sit and still see the DJs on the decks. This in itself is so reassuring to see. But what surprised me the most about that night is that when I approached Brendon at the end of the night to thank him for taking care of my friend, he remembered her and me by name. Safety is such an underrated part of going out. People work hard for their money, and sometimes they just want to throw ass and have some fun. Dance music is built on the pillars of peace, love, unity, and respect, but it can be hard to find spaces that allow for these values to be upheld. For as long as I have been going to Village, I have been having memorable nights. This isn't a perfect venue, but after the seeing how the Village team handles the crowds, and now with the new upgrades to the venue, it is even easier for me to recommend a night out at Village Studios ππ

My experience last night at the newly renovated Village was top tier. The club has a great new vibe to it & I counted 4 massive AC vents, which definitely solved the temperature issues. The club was packed and there was never a line for the bathrooms or the bar. I'm very excited for my next visit here. A job well done π
