This is a busy big box North American store chain which require an annual membership. They carry a wide range of products in larger sizes that change seasonally, among their standard items. This location has their own fast food area, pharmacy, tire shop, bakery, chicken rotisserie, and optical. Parking cost $2 for members.

You don’t shop at Costco. You embark on a quest. That sushi menu brings all the Asians like myself. It’s not a store — it’s a test of willpower, budget, and upper body strength. Upon entry, you flash your membership card like you’re part of a secret society. The greeter doesn’t even look at it — they just nod solemnly, as if to say, “You’re one of us now.” ⸻ 🌭 The Food Court: Let’s talk about that $1.50 hot dog and soda combo. Economists fear it. Other fast food chains whisper about it in dark corners. It has not changed since the dinosaurs. I ate it. I cried. Not out of emotion — out of confusion. How is it this cheap? Is it magic? Witchcraft? A deal with the meatball gods? The Checkout Experience: By the time I reached the checkout, I had a cart the size of a minivan and the blood pressure of someone who just found out they spent $417 on “essentials.”
