Black Crows Were Rocking
A couple years back, the concert was canceled due to the pandemic. We have been anxiously waiting for this year's tour. It was worth the wait. Rich was nailing it on lead guitar as Chris belted out each song and entertained with his whimsical moves. The stage setup reflected the aura of southern rock and was fantastic. While I was excited to finally see the brothers and the rest of the band, there are two opportunities and one opinion I'd like to share. The stage was very dark while the sun was up and did not highlight the band, but it got much better as the sun went down. My first concert at Mystic Lake was this one. I love the location and setup but was disappointed with the quality of sound. Often times, it was difficult to understand what was being said. On a personal note, I wish the encore ended on one of their own songs. I am looking forward to traveling to see them again at a different venue. Lastly, hats off to security and the crew working the concert for being very friendly and professional!
